Ingredients

  • 4 slices of your favorite bread 
  • 4 tablespoons Better Butter Garlic Butter (or more, depending on your preference)
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce 
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni

Directions

  • Spread 1 tablespoon of Better Butter’s Garlic Butter on one side of each slice of bread. This will create the buttery, garlicky crust. Don't skimp—this butter is packed with flavor!
  • On the unbuttered side of two slices of bread, spread a thin layer of pizza sauce. Add a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni.
  • Place the second slice of bread on top, garlic butter side facing up, to complete the sandwich.
  • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the sandwich in the skillet. Grill each side for about 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese has melted inside. You can press down gently with a spatula to ensure even browning.
  • Once both sides are perfectly golden and crispy, remove from the skillet. Let it sit for a minute to cool slightly, then slice it in half.
  • Dip in some remaining pizza sauce or more melted garlic butter, and enjoy!
