Garlic Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 Bunch of asparagus
  • 6-8 Slices of bacon
  • 2-3 Tbsp. Garlic Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lemon wedges for serving

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • Snap or cut off the woody ends of the asparagus (about 1-2 inches from the bottom).
  • Take 2-3 asparagus spears and bundle them together. Wrap one slice of bacon around each bundle, starting at the bottom and spiraling up toward the tips. Place the bundle seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all the asparagus spears are wrapped.
  • Brush each bacon-wrapped bundle with melted Garlic Butter, making sure to coat them well. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper over the top.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
  • Once cooked, remove the bundles from the oven. Let them cool for a couple of minutes, then transfer to a serving platter. Optionally, serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
