Instant Pot Turkey with Garlic and Herb Craft Butter
3 oz. Better Butter Garlic Herb Craft Butter, divided
5 lbs. Turkey breasts or thighs
Salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning, to taste
1 C. Water or broth
Dry the turkey pieces with a clean paper towel. Season the surfaces evenly with salt, pepper, paprika, and poultry seasoning.
Use the Instant pot on the sauté setting to melt ¼ C. Garlic Herb Craft Butter and brown the turkey pieces on all sides.
Transfer the browned turkey to a plate and deglaze the Instant Pot with water. Discard the liquid to avoid burning in the bottom while cooking. Alternatively, deglaze the pot with broth and set the liquid aside to use while making gravy separately.
Add ½ C. fresh water to the clean Instant Pot. Place the metal trivet in the bottom and place the browned turkey pieces on top.
Lock the lid securely and select the pressure cook setting. Cook for 15 minutes, then allow the pressure to release naturally.
Immediately after the pressure has released, remove the lid. Check to see that the internal temperature has reached 165 degrees and the juices are running clear.
While still hot, transfer the fully cooked turkey pieces to a serving dish and baste with the remaining Garlic Herb Craft Butter.
