First, make a classic grilled cheese sandwich by buttering both slices of bread with Garlic Butter and placing bread butter side down on a skillet over medium heat.
Add cheese slices on top of the bread. Cook until bread is toasted and cheese is melted, then flip one piece of bread over to close the sandwich.
Remove from the skillet and allow to cool for a couple of minutes.
Cut the sandwich into 12 equal pieces, then return to the skillet. Cook over medium heat for 90 seconds, then flip and cook 90 seconds more to make them crunchy.
Mix together your sliced romaine, sliced tomatoes, and crumbled bacon bits in a bowl and toss with dressing of choice.
Top salad with Garlic Grilled Cheese Croutons and enjoy.
